Due to the generosity and enthusiasm of supporters we have introduced a stretch target in attempt to secure more funds from this fundraising campaign. The additional money raised will help the South Georgia Heritage Trust to further protect and preserve the island's wildlife, environment and heritage for future generations.
Do you dare to embark on a journey of epic proportions? You have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of legendary explorer, Sir Ernest Shackleton, and win a once-in-a-lifetime cruise to awe-inspiring South Georgia.
G Adventures has generously donated a Category-3 cabin for two on its "Spirit of Shackleton" expedition cruise.
This 21-day voyage aboard the G Expedition begins on 11 January 2025 from Ushuaia, Argentina. The expedition cruise will first cross the Drake Passage and visit the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula. Then the voyage will retrace Shackleton’s route from Elephant Island to South Georgia. At least four days will be enjoyed exploring the island, enjoying its millions of penguins and seals, and discovering its amazing history - including its links to Sir Ernest Shackleton. After toasting The Boss at Grytviken and visiting the South Georgia Museum, G Expedition will sail west to the Falkland Islands before making way across the Beagle Channel to Ushuaia, arriving on 31 January 2025.
