Aim: Pledge £100 now, get £200 to spend when we reopen. We’re moving Kitgum to a bigger, better site and we need your help to bring it to life
Ten years ago we started with no plan — just family recipes, a love of music, and a pop-up in a Brighton pub. We could never have imagined where that would take us
From there came festivals, residencies, and after years of hard work, finally, our very own 20-seater restaurant.
When we first opened the doors we were packed out with a waiting list. We couldn’t believe our luck. Then, just five weeks after opening , COVID hit. We lost everything we’d worked for, with no support or safety net.
But we adapted. We hustled. We kept going… launched heat-at-home kits, whilst raising three kids
Since then, we’ve won awards, packed out the room, and built a loyal community.
It’s busy, we have some amazing reviews, we love it and we’re proud of what we’ve created, but it’s just not sustainable in our current site & location
The space is too small. The footfall too low. We’ve hit the wall

We’ve managed to get enough cash together to pay for the lease and legal costs ourselves. Now we need your help to fit it out.
