Aim: Creating girls' football for ages 5–11 as girls only afterschool clubs and holiday camps, with pathways into teams, refereeing & coaching.

Chipperfield Corinthians Youth Football Club is a friendly village community youth football club, situated in West Herts, close to Hemel Hempstead, Watford and Kings Langley.

We offer youth football opportunities for boys and girls of all ages, including tots soccer (u5 and U6's), and mini-soccer U7's all the way through to U12's in mixed football and u18's girls. As an FA Chartered Development Status football team, Corinthians strives to provide a safe and fun environment where the children from the local community can get involved in football and start a life long love of the beautiful game.

CCYFC recognises the power and value in sport for improving individuals and groups mental and physical well being. Our Crowd funding initiative is aimed at continuing to keep our members and their parents active as well as encourage new members who might be or are at risk of being coming inactive. We have recently created links with Lime Walk school, which has been highlighted as being in an area of deprivation in Hemel Hempstead by Sport England and the Herts Sports Partnerships to encourage more less active children to become involved in football. CCYFC has worked in partnership with the school to obtain funding from the Opening Schools facilities funds whilst also delivering new football initiatives with the Herts FA such as Squad and Wildcats. CCYFC has been recognised by these efforts by receiving the Hertfordshire's Fa Grass roots club of the year award for 2024!

Why Are We Crowd Funding?

At Chipperfield Corinthians Youth Football Club (CCYFC), we are passionate about getting more inactive young people active—especially in areas like Bennetts End, where Lime Walk Primary School is based. Every year, we see a growing number of boys and girls wanting to play football with us, and we’re determined to meet this demand, no matter a child’s background or ability level.

With the upcoming European Championships and the inspirational power of the England Lionesses, we anticipate even more interest from girls—particularly those who are currently less active. We want to be ready to welcome them.

That’s why we’re crowd funding.

We aim to become the leading girls’ football club across the village areas and Bennetts End in Dacorum. Our girls-only programmes like Wildcats and Squad have already shown incredible results: girls having fun, building friendships, and growing in self-confidence. Now, we want to build on this success by expanding our provision—more coaches, more equipment, and more opportunities for local girls to thrive through football.

Your support will help us turn that vision into a reality.

How we’ll spend the money raised

How We Will Use the Money Raised

At Chipperfield Corinthians Youth Football Club (CCYFC), every pound we raise will go directly toward expanding access to football while upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection. Our priorities are twofold:

1. Subsidising Afterschool Clubs and Holiday Camps

We want to remove financial barriers so that more children—especially from lower-income families—can access high-quality, structured football activities throughout the year. The funds will allow us to:

1a) Subsidise afterschool football clubs in schools such as Lime Walk and others across the Bennetts End and village areas, making them more affordable or even free for children who need it most.

1b) Support our holiday camps, helping cover equipment, facility hire, and staffing costs so we can keep camp fees low and accessible.

1c) Provide free or low-cost spaces for children who are eligible for Free School Meals or are otherwise vulnerable, ensuring no child misses out on the opportunity to be active, have fun, and feel part of a team.

2. Investing in Safeguarding, Welfare, and Volunteer Development

We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and well-supervised environment for all players. To maintain and improve our safeguarding provision, we will use the funding to:

2a) Pay for volunteer DBS checks, ensuring that every adult working with children is fully vetted and compliant with FA and legal standards.

2b)Fund coaching qualifications, such as FA Playmaker, Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1), and further development opportunities—helping us maintain high-quality, child-centred coaching.

2c) Support young leaders and referees by paying for refereeing qualifications and leadership training, empowering local teens to contribute to the club and act as role models for younger players.

2d)Provide safeguarding and first aid training, ensuring our staff and volunteers know how to respond to emergencies and safeguard children effectively.

2e)Improve our policies and procedures, with regular reviews and resources to ensure best practice is always followed.

By crowd funding, we are not just growing a football club—we are building a community programme that gives every child a chance to be active, safe, and supported. With your help, we can make sure that no child is left on the sidelines.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
